Fig Tree Bay
Fig Tree Bay is located in Protaras and is possibly the best family beach in the area. This gorgeous sandy beach has everything from watersports, snorkelling and restuarants. Fig Tree Bay is a 7 minutes drive away from the Grand Villa Alexander and a 15 minute drive away from the Beach Villa Alexander.
Ayia Napa Harbour
Ayia Napa Harbour is a nice place to visit both in the day and evening, with its host of shops, bars, restuarants and Greek tavernas specialising in fish mezes. The harbour is a 5 minute drive away from the Beach Villa Alexander and a 10 minute drive away from the Grand Villa Alexander.
Nissi Beach
Nissi Beach is the main beach in Ayia Napa for younger people. This beach has all watersports, beach bars and music. Nissi Beach is a 4 minute drive from the Beach Villa Alexander and a 10 minute drive from the Grand Villa Alexander.
Landa Beach
Landa Beach is a great family beach. This beach has very good facilities for those with young children including good tiolets and showers, bar and restuarant. Landa Beach is a 4 minute drive away from the Beach Villa Alexander and a 10 minute drive away from the Grand Villa Alexander.
Ayia Thekla Beach
Ayia Thekla Beach is just a 2 minute walk away from the Beach Villa Alexander. This beautiful sandy cove has its own lifeguard and taverna. Ayia Thekla Beach is not a well known tourist beach which makes it all the more perfect for those lazy days by the Meditterranean Sea. The beach sits below the picturesque Ayia Thekla Church.
The Small fishing Village of Potamos
The small fishing village of Potamos is just a few minutes drive away from the Beach Villa Alexander and a 10 minutes drive away from the Grand Villa Alexander. This pleasant creek with its small fishing harbour and traditional Cypriot boats is a perfect place to visit. Our favourite place to go is the second restaurant, where you can just sit next to the beach with its fantastic views of the Mediterranean Sea and enjoy local fresh fish and a bottle of chilled wine afternoon or evening.
